Welcome to VTK of Madison!

Updated: Nov 22, 2025

Are you interested in learning more about plant-based eating, even if you're not vegan? Or are you vegan and interested in expanding cooking horizons? Do you like to tinker with recipes, or taste-test foods that others make? Maybe this group is for you!

We believe that plant-based eating is the way of the future, necessary for the health of our planet and generally better for ourselves. We want to develop plant-based recipes for all to enjoy, enhancing our cooking skills in the process. And we believe that sharing food and ideas around in community improves well-being in every way.

We meet regularly in a home kitchen in Fitchburg WI to taste test recipes. Our goal is to create vegan recipes that are so good that even meat-eaters will enjoy them and be persuaded to eat plant-based more often.
